Job Description

LHH is seeking an experienced litigation secretaryassistant interested in a full-time job opportunity in Detroit, MI. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional for this position. you will be responsible for drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence; filing and e-filing for state and federal courts; calendaring and deadline management; research and fact finding; and other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will be a pleasure to work with, with a no-task-too-small attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondenceFiling and e-filing for state and federal courtsCalendaring and deadline managementResearch and fact findingOther tasks as assigned Qualifications3+ years of solid litigation secretary experience, experience with litigation is a big plus!Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)A thorough understanding of litigation procedures and the discovery processSolid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detailSuperb communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, proactive mindsetExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
