As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for leading our sales efforts within one of our fastest growing verticals. This newly created position and highly visible executive role demands a strategic thinker who can shape the future of our sales organization and oversee a number of highly visible prestigious brands in the space. Your focus will be on developing and executing go-to-market strategies, transforming and nurturing sales talent, and collaborating on pricing and packaging strategies. Your experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, team management, and consultative sales approaches will be instrumental in your success.Key Responsibilities:Leadership: Manage and develop a team of sales directors, managers, and Inside Sales Representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets, ensuring the continuous growth of our business.Market Understanding: Assess customer needs, gather user feedback, and use insights to refine and enhance our existing solutions.Go-to-Market Strategy: Define priority customer segments and develop appropriate go-to-market strategies.Talent Development: Build a high-performing sales team by identifying leadership potential and fostering career development.Process Optimization: Streamline and optimize sales processes to enhance accountability and pensation Planning: Develop a compensation plan that aligns with our goals and motivates the team to achieve desired results.Client Success: Ensure the readiness of the team to deliver complex service solutions and instill a culture of sales innovation and client success.Market Expansion: Expand and grow sales within our target markets, both in terms of geographical reach and customer base.Personal Attributes:Collaborative Leader: Ability to work with all levels of management and build positive relationships while having influence across the organization.Proven Success: Demonstrated success in consultative solution selling with a track record of managing and inspiring high-performing sales teams for 10+ years.SaaS Experience: Proficient in selling B2B subscription solutions, particularly in the SaaS dependent and Innovative: An independent, self-starter who thrives in a rapidly changing environment and excels in problem-solving and analytics.Proactive: Possesses a can-do attitude, follows through, shows resourcefulness, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven track record selling B2B solutions.Demonstrates an agile approach to selling with the ability to quickly assimilate new value propositions and guide the sales team and clients to adopt them.The candidate must be a proven winner with a successful track record of growing and managing sales in a challenging and fast paced environment.The candidate must have strong motivational leadership skills and must be able to think strategically about new opportunities and develop and execute against a clear plan of action.The candidate must have strong organizational skills, and experience communicating effectively within a sales organization, particularly in the area of sales and revenue forecasting.The candidate must be an excellent judge of sales talent and have a record of hiring and training salespeople that has resulted in successful outcomes.
