RPC Company has partnered with a globally recognized client in search of an Outside Sales Representative to join their dynamic team!As a Sales Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our client's footprint in the industrial sector. We are seeking a motivated individual with at least 3-5 years of sales experience, a proven track record of growing their book of business, a hunter mindset, and a talent for identifying opportunities and delivering tailored solutions.Strong understanding and knowledge of scaffolding REQUIRED. This is an outside sales position in Buffalo or Rochester, NY. You must live locally to cover your territory. Competitive base salary, uncapped commission, monthly vehicle allowance, great benefits and growth within the company. Responsibilities:Generate sales leads and call on potential new and current customers to discover requirements and sell scaffolding, coating, and insulation productsservices, consistent with branch revenue and profitability goals.Examine customer specifications and prepare proposals that fulfill customer requirements for the sale andor rental products or services. Coordinate engineering services relating to proposals. Perform duties related to proposal preparation, such as reviewing blueprints and performing estimating.Present proposals to customers respond to customer questions andor objections to secure the sale. Negotiate terms of sale to the best advantage of the company.Coordinate the sales, delivery, andor erection and disassembly of products or services consistent with customer requirements and branch revenue and profitability goals.Provide leadership and assist in the supervision and direction of job site work crews to fulfill customer requirements and maintain job profitability.Discuss job requirements with construction job site management or other personnel to ensure satisfaction of customer requirements and the safe utilization of company products and services.Review and administer billing activities to ensure that customers are invoiced accurately and timely for all sales andor rental of related services.Qualifications:High School diploma required; Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or Sales and Marketing preferred.3 to 5 years of sales experience required.Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle safely while observing all traffic rules and regulations.Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, company employees, and customer employees at job sites, give sales presentations, and negotiate terms and conditions of sales to the best advantage of the company.Ability to review and process important customer information (blueprints, plans, specifications, etc.) and prepare timely, accurate, and competitive bids for the sale andor rental of products and services.
