Located in Ridgefield Park, NJ and continuing their expansion, they are seeking a talented Human Resources Generalist to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.Position Overview: As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR policies, overseeing performance management processes, conducting employee reviews, managing compensation and benefits, and handling various ad hoc tasks. This position requires a versatile HR professional who is adept at managing a wide range of responsibilities to support the organization's objectives.Key Responsibilities:Development of HR Policies: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements and best practices.Performance Management: Design, implement, and monitor performance management systems to ensure fair and effective evaluation of employee performance. Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement strategies and disciplinary actions when necessary.Employee Reviews: Coordinate and conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback to employees and managers to enhance individual and team pensation & Benefits Administration: Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking, bonus structures, and employee benefits packages. Stay abreast of market trends and recommend adjustments to ensure competitiveness and employee satisfaction.Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation sessions, completion of paperwork, and integration into company culture. Develop and maintain onboarding materials to streamline the process and enhance the new employee experience.Unemployment Claims & EEOC Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact for unemployment claims, responding to inquiries and representing the company in hearings as necessary. Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) regulations and oversee the implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives.Ad Hoc Tasks: Handle various ad hoc HR tasks as needed, including employee relations issues, HRIS data management, and employee communications.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.3+ years of experience in a similar HR role, with a strong focus on HR policy development, performance management, and employee relations.Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations, including EEOC guidelines and FMLA.Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
