Candidates selected to move forward in the interview process will need to submit proof of eligibility to receive academic credit for their time interning with Wasserman, and will be disqualified if they are unable to do so.DutiesSupport the Vice President of Talent Marketing OperationsPrepare expense reportsConduct cold calls and marketing outreach as directedCreate excel spreadsheets and powerpoint pitch decks to organize and conduct marketing outreachReview contracts and prepare summariesReview and code invoices for paymentConduct research on prospective clientsVarious administration duties as assignedApplicants must possess a professional attitude while demonstrating initiative and strong communication skillsApplicants should have an interest in sports business and salesmarketing as well as be eager to learn about and contribute to the marketing and endorsement efforts of professional athletes by cold calling and other communication skillsApplicants with sales, marketing, business development and cold calls experience are strongly preferredRequirementsDegree currently in progress, preferably majoring in a sports-related fieldApplicants must be organized, self-motivated, passionate and enthusiasticApplicants must possess a professional attitude while demonstrating initiative and strong communication skillsApplicants should have an interest in sports business and salesmarketing as well as be eager to learn about and contribute to the marketing and endorsement efforts of professional athletes by cold calling and other communication skillsApplicants with sales, marketing, business development and cold calls experience are strongly preferredWell-developed communication, organizational and time management skills, as well as basic administrative skillsAbility to work independently in a fast paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlinesStrong attention to detail and highly organizedDisplays indications of being loyal and trustworthy with the organization and clientsTime commitment expectation of 30-40 hours per weekPreference for applicants that can come into our New York based office 1-2x per weekMust be able to earn college credit for internship Educational Benefit to Student: Interns will attain a rewarding learning experience by working for one of the most respected sports & entertainment companies.
