You will benefit by being provided with warm introductions to prospective clients that have been provided to you by our marketing team. You will use these leads to develop and build new client relationships. You will build your knowledge of virtualization technologies including desktop virtualization, server virtualization, and storage virtualization. You will use your business acumen and consultative selling approach to understand our prospective clients' business needs and then provide technical solutions to reduce costs and increase profitability.Responsibilities:Hunt for new business by using conventional as well as non-conventional techniquesDevelop and build new client relationships throughout the sales processUnderstand client business needs and explain the technical solutions we offer based on product knowledge and positioningPrepare and present quotes, statements of work and proposals to prospective clientsWorking with the engineering team to architect and position new solutionsIdentify personal sales objectives and meet those objectivesCultivate existing client accounts to develop new business opportunitiesAssist with office administrative tasks as neededAbout You:The right candidate for the position will:Be able to quickly understand the technical solutions we providePossess excellent communication and follow up skillsDemonstrate a proven sales track recordUnderstand the professional services industry and the value providedLocation:This is a work from home position, but applicants must live in the New York City Metropolitan area. Travel to client sites within the NYC area is pensation:Salary range for this role will be $60,000 to $80,000 per year. We also have an excellent health benefit plan along with vision and dental.RequirementsExperience with face to face sales meetings and client interactionsExperience marketing for new business using alternate techniques (professional networking events, etc.)Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Prove a strong detail oriented natureStrong writing, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to multi-task and manage time effectivelyDedication to getting the job doneAbility to work as part of a teamFamiliarity with major technology vendors such as Cisco, Microsoft, Citrix, Dell, etcUnderstanding iSCSI SANs (such as Dell Equallogic), NAS, SSL VPNs, firewalls, routers, switches, and other similar technologies are a major plusSales certifications such as CCSP or VSP are big plusesBenefitsSalary plus commissionHealth InsuranceDental PlanVision Plan
