** Relocation Assistance within surrounding states available**Seeking a talented and creative Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of a product design, from concept to manufacturing. Supporting our customers, both internal and external, is paramount and will be expected as a regular part of this position. You will play a key role in ensuring our products are functional, high-quality, and manufacturable.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, marketing, customers) to understand design requirements and translate them into manufacturable solutions.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using Soldworks computer-aided design (CAD) software.Conduct stress, deflection, and other analyses to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory specifications.Develop and document detailed engineering drawings, including parts bills of materials and assembly instructions.Prepare and maintain product documentation, including customer cut-sheets, reference drawings, installation and operating manuals, and calculations to support equipment designs.Participate in the development and testing of prototypes.Work closely with manufacturing to identify potential production challenges and recommend design improvements for cost reduction and manufacturability.Support quality staff with investigation of productequipment for out of specification conditions, assemblyuse difficulties andor failures to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations for improvements.Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to product design and quality.Stay up to date on the latest advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and manufacturing processes.Other duties may be assigned. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 2+ years of experience in a design engineering role within a manufacturing environmentProven experience with CAD software and file management systems (SolidWorksPDM, CreoWindchill, etc.). SolidWorks experience preferredStrong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, mechanics of materials, and machine designBlueprint reading and basic GD&T knowledgeExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrior experience with manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly) is a plusMust be US Citizen or greencard holder-unable to provide sponsorship at this time
