Kraus Hi-Tech is a great place to work with great room for advancement.We are currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Agent in the NY Metro Area.Position summary: We are looking to fill the Key position of Purchasing Agent to manage inventory for high end Automation projects for a discriminating, affluent clientele.Job TypeFull Time Qualifications • Experience of 3 years or more working as a Purchasing Agent • Experience in the AVAutomation industry a plus • Must have valid NY driver's license. • Must be a team player with ability to take direction and multi task • Polite with experience working in a customer service environment • Must be reliable and able to complete task in allotted timeframeResponsibilitiesInventory management • Work with salesPM and technicians to ensure workflow • Issuing purchase orders - expedite and redirect as needed, pricing negotiation • Equipment Receiving - review invoices and approved for payment • Track back orders, RMA's, reach out to vendors when needed. • Forecast inventory needs based on historical, current and future demands • Evaluate and qualify potential suppliers • Manage POs and Invoices in Quickbooks • Equipment staging • Issuing RFQs • Coordinate and execute yearly warehouse inventory - * perform system wide adjustment * submit inventory for approvalHours 8:00am to 4:30pmBenefitsCompetitive salaryPaid sick timePaid HolidaysPaid vacation401K with employer matchingHealth insurance with employer contribution
