The position ofSales Consultanta part of the ARISE Inc. business unit, whose mission is to supply superior service to our client base in the areas of Shop Inspection activity, Jurisdictional Inspection Services and Risk Analysis activity.The main focus of this position is to support our ambition of becoming the leading provider of Boiler & Machinery Jurisdictional & Risk Engineering Services. The main objective of this position is the identification, cultivation, and development of new and existing business channels as well as large direct client relationships pursuit. A strong working knowledge of the ARISE Inc. business model and office process is required.Sales Consultantresponsibilities include participating in strategic planning with the ARISE President & Treasurer. TheSales Consultantwill consult ARISE operations (both administrative and engineering) for specialized service plansprograms requiring additional administrative efforts and for large amounts of inspection force manpower (generally if >$30kyear). TheSales Consultantpersonal account portfolio shall be maintained with the eventual transition of designated clients or channels to ARISE Account Managers as the goal.The position is home based and requires a strong degree of self-motivation. Travel can be intensive during peak demand periods. On average travel will be approximately 30%-40%. Attending client & staff meetings as required.TheSales Consultantwill be responsible for:Developing new business channels while consulting the ARISE President, with the assistance of the Sales & Account Services team.Developing a detailed Sales & Marketing Plan to generate new-new business.Identifying Target ClientsChannels to develop new business.Qualifying Target ClientsChannels to develop new business.Conducting marketing visits with channels to develop new clients.Respond to RFPOpportunity to quote.Consulting with officefield managers if client requests non-standard service delivery to make sure ARISE can deliver requested municating any agreed-upon non-standard servicing procedures to office staff for implementation.Providing clients and business channels with ARISE resources as required to ensure a high retention rate of ARISE clients (>95%).Working with ARISE Account Manager and Quoting Specialist personnel in promoting account profitability and efficient use of ARISE resources for account renewal, highlighting instances of inefficiency or lack of profitability for account audits.Attending marketing functions when deemed to make business sense.Attending and participate in Marketing Trade Shows and Conferences when deemed terfacingMentoring TUV SUD GRC Channel on jurisdictional business opportunities.Understanding all services to sell within the organization, both ARISE, TUV SUD GRC and TUV SUD America.Participating in TUV SUD GRC Regional Meetings.Serving as a back-up for other members of the sales and account management team while they are traveling or conducting marketing functions.The primary objectives of Sales Consultant:Promoting new ARISE business channel partners and large, direct accounts. Ensuring the OR (Operating Results) of ARISE are in line with projected corporate suring ARISE gross revenue projections are on track to hit projected corporate expectations.Work with Account Managers as required to develop generic sales presentation materials and a unified marketing approach for the sales of ARISE jurisdictional inspection services.Ensuring client retention rates in excess of 95%.Establishing, writing, and managing service plans for accounts that require them via the ASI (Account Service Instructions). Duties and ResponsibilityNew channel and large client growth- Working very closely with the ARISE Account Manager and Quoting Specialist team, the ARISESales Consultantwill develop new business channels while consulting the ARISE President. All new account and business channels will need to adhere to the stated OR (Operating Results) goals of ARISE. TheSales Consultantpresents the company to the buying public, making ARISE's capabilities and qualifications known to potential and existing clients and industry in general. Acquires new business for all core services and cross sells TUV SUD GRC and TUV SUD services by responding to RFP's, buyer inquiries, business contacts, and other sources as they materialize from marketing efforts.Work independently with client management, brokers and TUV SUD GRC to develop specialized service plans that are conducive to the ARISE business model, along with other management programs, policies, procedures, and training programs.Understand company concepts and applications to safety and risk management.Evaluate and access potential problems on an assigned account municate verbally and written, the technical information to the ARISE president.Make effective technical presentations to diverse puter literacy - Windows, Microsoft Office, and other electronic reporting.Functional Technical skills, client focus, written and verbal communication, problem solving, interpersonal savvy, presentation skills, technical learning, time management, negotiating, organizational skills and listening.Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering is preferred andor equivalent practical experience.
