Controls & Electrical Process EngineerLocation: Bloomsburg, PACompensation: Offering Competitive Compensation Industry: Manufacturing & ProductionJob Category: Engineering - ElectricalJob DescriptionPrimary Purpose of the JobResponsible for specifyingimplementing equipment controls and improving manufacturing performance at plant.Responsibilities:Develops and implements optimal, cost-effective processes and methods in accordance with product specifications, quality, and healthsafety standards. Recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls.Designs, develops and tests andor sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.Coordinates the manufacturing launch of newrevised products including establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating results.Performs productprocess analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.Devises and implement preventative, total productive and predictive maintenance plans to drive equipment reliability to best in class. Develops solutions to repetitive failures and other maintenance problems and Provides troubleshooting support for electrical and mechanical systemsDevelops plans to reduce energy intensity and energy consumptionProvides technical support to manufacturing and other manufacturing engineersDevelops and implements optimal, cost-effective control processes and methods in accordance with product manufacturing requirements and healthsafety standards.Designs, develops and tests andor sources and cost-justifies various control system upgrades.Prepares and maintains detailed policies and procedures for Process Control Systems.Other job duties as requiredSuccessful Candidate in this role will have the following attributes:Ability to analyze difficult and complex engineering systems and render clear interpretation and directionExcellent organizational and project management skills.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Ability to take the initiative, provide leadership, meet deadlines and work in a team environmentQualifications:Basic or Minimum Qualifications Include:Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Minimum 5 years' work experience in a manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications:Ability to read electrical and hydraulicpneumatic schematicsProficient with Allen Bradly PLC controlsRSLinx, RSLogix 5, 500, 5000 (motion). Panelbuilder, RSVIEW 32, ME.
