Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLos Angeles Congregate Living, Inc. is a small sub-acute facility within a residential home. We specialize in providing the best possible care in a home like environment. We are looking for LVN's, especially ones who have experience in ventilatortrach. You would be working your shift in a 6-bed facility with a CNA at all times. A house keeper, activities program manager and cook are on staff 5 days a week. An RN supervises as the DON and is available 247. Facility location is in Sun Valley.Responsibilities And DutiesProvide bedside care including trach vent GT careAdminister medications and document therapeutic effectsTake vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration)Assist with resident comfortPrepare and administer injections andor enemasCollect samples and monitor cathetersProvide wound careHelp coach staff as necessaryUseful ExperienceExperience with ventilatortrach1 year of nursing experience but new grads are welcomeUp to date first aid and CPR certificationCurrent LVN license in the stateWillingness to work evenings and every other weekendExceptional staff training and customer service skillsCompassionate and friendly demeanorAll residents fully vaccinated for COVID-19All staff are required to show proof of vaccination status.
