Job Description

Pride Health is hiring Mammography Tech to support our client's hospital facility in Burlington, WI. This is a 13-weeks contract role with possible extension opportunity (Travel and local options).Duties:• Practice technology founded upon theoretical knowledge and concepts, uses equipment and accessories consistent with the purposes for which they were designed, and employs procedures and techniques appropriately.• Assesses situations; exercises care, discretion, and judgment; assumes responsibility for professional decisions; and acts in the best interest of the patient.• Acts as an agent through observation and communication to obtain pertinent information for the physician to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient and recognizes that interpretation and diagnosis are outside the scope of practice for the profession.• Use equipment and accessories, employ techniques and procedures, perform services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice, and demonstrate expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self, and other members of the healthcare team.Licensure, Registration, Andor Certification Required• Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.• Registered Technologist(RT) registration issued by ARRT.• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months.EducationExperience Required• Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program.Schedule: Monday - Thursday 11:00am-0730pm Friday 08:30am-05:00pm.Location: Burlington, WIPay range: $50-60hour or $2278-2502 weekly package!Apply today!Pride Global offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, , legal support, auto ,home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
