Insight Global is assisting a Transportation and Logistics client of ours in identifying a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for an open position they have for a contract role that will last most likely until the end of the year. The Pay for this role is anywhere from $20 to $24 an hour. This role is a full time role, M- F - 8:30 am to 5:30 pmResponsibilities:• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)• Receive and process stock products (pick, unload, label, store)• Strong inventoryasset management skills. Tasks include but not limited to: inspecting shipmentsdocuments for completenessdamage, applying barcode labels to physical assets, pickpack, inventory check insouts, truckcontainer loadingunloading, etc.• Perform data entry tasks as assigned. To include but not limited to maintaining accurate daily log of all incoming deliveries and internal routing.• Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills in a multi-cultural environment.• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize work performed.Must Haves: • High School Graduate• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in shipping operations, preferably in the logistics industry, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Plusses:• Associates or Bachelors Degree• Direct experience working in the satellitetelecom andor logistics industry.• Experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) System• Knowledge of various documentation, such as Air Waybill, Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Purchase Order, etc.
