This role will primarily focus on providing superior legal counsel concerning estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate matters to our diverse client base.Job Responsibilities:1. Advise and assist clients in estate planning, including the drafting of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, and related documents.2. Assist clients with probate and estate administration matters.3. Counselling clients on tax implications, asset protection, and wealth preservation involving their estate planning.4. Review the estate planning documents and goals of prospective and existing clients and recommend appropriate strategies or modifications.5. Conduct legal research, prepare legal memoranda, and assist in managing all facets of the estate administration process.6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing timely information and outstanding client service.7. Stay updated on industry trends, statutory changes, and legal precedent relevant to estate planning and administer continuing legal education.Qualifications:1. Must possess a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the Illinois State Bar.2. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in estate planning and probate law.3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.4. High level of professional ethics and personal integrity.5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.6. Proficiency in legal research platforms and estate planning software.7. Exceptional attention to detail and organization.8.
