Looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow.Minimum Requirements:- High school diploma or GED- Eighteen (18) years of age- Bilingual English Spanish to communicate with monolingual clients- No experience as a receptionist, this employer is willing to train qualified applicant- Experience and or training using MS Office, MS Excel, MS OutlookPreferred:- Valid driver's license to attend trials, run errands and deliver mail to post office- Experience using Time Matters and ClioEmployer Notes:- This employer conducts a background check and a DMV records (if relevant) check before first day of employment- Need to be a calming presence for clients who may be stressed, while still being assertive.Job Duties:- Answer and make telephone calls in English and Spanish to communicate with clients- Take notes of all phone calls and conversations- Draft documents, conduct filing, maintain client files; open and close files, scanningcopyfax- Provided courttrial support to lawyer as needed, documents to and from court, obtain supplies, research laws, support clients- Tasks related to maintaining a clean and functioning office- Responsible for office related correspondence; mail, email and phone calls- Prepare for office holidays and parties and other events- Maintain lawyer's calendar- Maintain own time sheets for time worked on files and for hours worked- Prepare food, drinks, and other items needed for meetings and the office generally- Assist lawyer in activities needed to free up her time for lawyer centered work- Maintain client confidential information- Accept payments from clients and provide receipts- Keep client monies and evidence in trust and ensure they are not lost or stolen- Provide customer service- Provide other duties as assignedHours:- Open 9-5 M-F 20 hours per week part-time, 35 hours per week full-time. Negotiate actual schedule and hours with employer.Wages:- Start at $16.00 per Hour, Depending on Experience, Depending on QualificationsLanguage skill requirement or preference: We represent Spanish speaking clients who call the office and send the office emails and text messages and this position needs to respond to those calls, emails, and text messages.
