Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a technician with extensive experience on Audi vehicles. This position is located in Oxnard, California. Benefits are offered for this opportunity.Pay range: $23.00-$25.00 per hour.Role Responsibilities: Perform detailed and thorough inspections and repair of all test vehicles.Perform SW and HW updates including reporting systems with guidance from Sr. Technicians.Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of test vehicles as defined.Provide full vehicle support for entire concern test vehicles as requested.Assist in maintain workshop tool, tire, and service part inventory.Provide technical support for visiting test stall, remove and maintain data logging equipment for information gathering from spection of assigned vehicles.Receiving of parts from Germany and other stations.Sampling and collection of fluids with full documentation.Maintain and update engineering tools such as iDEX, Diagra, ODIS, and CP Tool with guidance from Sr. Technicians.Prepare vehicles for scrapping.Prepare vehicles for rotation for external drivers.Education Required:High School Diploma or equivalent.Automotive vocational technical training.Dealership product training.Certificate in Automotive Technology.At least two ASE Certifications.DesiredPrevious experience working as a Technician in an Engineering Test and Development Environment.Skills:Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic.Valid drivers license with good DMV record.Solid knowledge of the English munication skills - interpersonal, presentation and puter savvy - skilled in use of software Engineering tegration - joining people, processes or systems.Problem solving.Required:Basic ability with Microsoft Office applications.Highly organized and dependable.Ability to work well independently and with minimal supervision.Minimum two ASE certifications: One powertrain related.Recent Automotive drivetrain diagnostic experience.Extensive knowledge as an Automotive Technician on AudiVW vehicles.Desired:Diagnostic experience including VAS anize and maintain a clean work environment.Resource management.German andor Spanish language skills.Forklift certification and operation.Work Flexibility: Work schedule based on business requirements (min. 40 hours week) including occasional Saturday or occasional overtime, core work hours 7AM - 4PM.Occasional domestic travel required for business & training and possibly to international locations.Often driving a motor vehicle, incl. performance class, special training monly sit at a desk or table.Frequent walk, stand, or stop.
