Our client is urgently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Billing Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in outgoing billing to insurance companies, familiarity with PIP programs, accounts receivable management, collections, reviewing benefits of new patients, and a strong grasp of electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. This is Full-Time, onsite position located in Franklin Lakes, NJ that has the potential to be temp to hire for a qualified candidate. The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00hr. Responsibilities:Manage outgoing billing processes to insurance companies accurately and efficiently.Navigate and process PIP program claims with precision and compliance.Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and implement effective collection strategies.Conduct thorough reviews of new patients' benefits and coverage.Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all billing and documentation tasks.Utilize strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.Handle electronic medical records (EMR) with proficiency and maintain accurate patient records.Collaborate with the team to optimize billing procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.Provide excellent customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries and concerns.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Medical Billing Specialist or similar role.Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Strong knowledge of medical billing processes, including insurance claims and collections.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.Certification in Medical Billing and Coding is preferred but not required.If you are a dedicated and experienced Medical Billing Specialist looking to join a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply today!Please submit your resume for immediate consideration.
