W2 ONLY - NO VISA TRANSFER - NO THRID PARTY - NO CORP TO CORPMUST HAVE P&C INSURANCE EXPERIENCELooking for a Sr. Business Analyst with a strong Agile background to join us on a multi-year Strategic Roadmap building out state of the art capabilities. This candidate will support the program initiatives intake and underwriting and should be proficient in using techniques that enable a highly iterative delivery approach of continuous requirement identification, focusing on delivering effective business value as quickly as possible using application of agile practices, principles and lean thinking. The role will be responsible for conducting stakeholder interviews, requirement workshops, leading backlog refinement sessions, interacting with Product Owners, end users, and other stakeholders to elicit, document and test new requirements, test and validate existing requirements and create new user stories. The Business Analyst will provide support to developers and testers and facilitate prioritization of user stories, having a strong understanding of the business intent and the ability to help the team build business and technical requirements to comprehensively cover the business goals and objectives.Qualifications:• 5+ years of deep practical experience in the role, with repeated experience performing business analysis in a variety of complex situations in an Agile environment including user stories, epics, backlog refinement.• Insurance industry experience is a plus• Strong written and oral communication skill with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audience.• Experienced facilitator with strong presentation skills.• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.• Self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to work both in a team environment and independently.• Ability to structure and drive working sessions that promote collaboration, achieve synergy and attain desired outcomes.• Experienced in developing estimates and prioritizing deliverables.• Experience in Agile development including prioritizing, creatingupdating features and stories, Test Driven Development, etc.• Experience working as a member of a scrum team is required, experience with Scaled Agile framework is preferred.
