Monarch creates a place where residents and staff can be nourished in spirit, body, and mind.Job DescriptionLed by the community's Director of Assisted Living and Memory Care, we are looking for a compassionate resident attendant to assist CNA's with tasks other than direct hands-on care with residents.Schedules:6am - 2pm andor 2pm to 10pm and weekends.Responsibilities And DutiesEncouraging and escorting residents to meals, activities, and in-house salon appointments.Maintains resident's bed making, laundry, general tidying and trash removalAssists with prepping and setting up mealsAssists with serving and monitoring mealsOne on one or group activities assistanceParticipates in and attends all in-service training as scheduledMaintains the confidentiality of all residentsEnsures compliance with all Federal, State and Local regulations, as well as community policies and proceduresOther duties assignedPhysical AbilitiesWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents.
