Job Description

As a Legal Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, attorneys, and visitors, playing a key role in creating a professional and welcoming environment. This position requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. This position is full time and for temporary coverage. Responsibilities, including but not limited to:Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.Answer multi-line phones, screen calls, and direct them appropriately to attorneys or staff.Schedule appointments, confirm attendance, and maintain attorney calendars.Prepare and distribute legal documents (copying, scanning, faxing).Assist with client intake procedures and collect basic information.Maintain office supplies and equipment.Perform other administrative duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 2 year of experience in a legal or professional office setting preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.Professional demeanor and appearance.
