Pride Health is hiring for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support our client's medical facility based in Las Vegas, NV. This is a 5-month contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Responsibilities:Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals.Performs patient imaging procedures using radiation detecting itiates, maintains, and discontinues IV access.Oversees the administering of contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticalsResponsible for compliance in assigned oversight areas within imaging. Modality to be in compliance of statefederal radiation controlsafety Accrediting guidelines with training, protocolsprocedures and competency.Participates initiates staff meeting as appropriate and ensures huddles completed, customer service and communication is conducted at imaging sitesmodality and communicated as appropriate to appropriate personsdepartments.Prepares images, data analysis, and patient information to the Radiologist for diagnostic interpretation. Qualifications: Minimum of three years clinical experience in an acute care setting with a demonstrated proficiency in Oncology Imaging.High school diploma andor equivalent required.Graduated from an accredited Nuclear medicine school with current certificationregistration in nuclear medicine. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB).Nevada State License required Valid BLS required.Additional Information: Location: Las Vegas, NVJob Type: 5-month contractSchedule: 730-4pm or 830-5pm Monday- FridayPay Range: $40-$54 hour *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
