Job Title: CNC ProgrammerLocation: Indianapolis, IN Industry: Aerospace ManufacturingJob Description: Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a CNC Programmer to add to their growing team located on the south side of Indianapolis. Our client is seeking an individual to assist utilizing NX to manipulate CAD files from customers to write CNC programs for mills then take codes thru a simulator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team in a stable organization as well as lead, make changes and earn recognition. Responsibilities:Write and optimize CNC programs to create complex parts on 3, 4, and 5 axis machining centers.Develop work-holding and select cutting tools.Create and compile necessary documents to aid setting up machines.Support engineering, shop floor, and inspection employees during all aspects of the manufacturing process.Write and distribute a daily summary of the projects worked on during each shift. This will include any action item or special instruction for the other shiftsRequirements:Associate's degree or equivalent experience.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Demonstrated experience creating high-quality object-oriented code.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Unigraphics NX Vericut experience preferred.
