Allegra Nursing and Rehab is working towards our mission to provide quality long-term care and related health services. We are seeking an experienced RN to grow our leadership team.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures that conform to current standards of nursing practice, facility philosophy, and operational policies while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.Evaluates the work performance of nursing personnel and implements discipline according to operational policies.Ensures delivery of compassionate quality careExercises overall supervision of resident assessments and care plans.Collaborates with physicians, consultants, community agencies, and institutions to improve the quality of services and to resolve identified problems.Coordinates nursing services with all other departments including Therapy.Ensure resident safety.Oversees the management of staffing schedules and call outs to insure overtime budgetary compliance.Proactively develops positive employee relations, incentives, and recognition programs.Performs rounds to observe care and to interview staff, residents, families or other interested parties.Establishes, implements, and monitors the infection control programParticipates in the preparation of the Plan of CorrectionCommunicates directly with residents, families, medical staff, nursing staff, interdisciplinary team members, and Department HeadsPromotes customer service and hospitality Monitors facility incidents and complaints Acts in an administrative capacity in the absence of the Administrator.Educational requirements:LicensesCertification- Valid Michigan Nursing License (RN)BLS CPR certification required.Leadership experience preferred.Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage, PTO and more!
