We are seeking a dedicated Director of Operations to lead our team and drive the success of our multiple locations.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in Springfield, IL for a Director of Operations at Multi-Unit Operator for Potbelly Sandwich Shop. The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the overall performance of multiple Potbelly Sandwich Shop locations. They will develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, manage budgets, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and drive customer satisfaction. The Director of Operations will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and objectives.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of progressive experience in restaurant management (at least 2 of which were at GM level), with at least 2 years in a multi-unit leadership role.Proven experience in a leadership role within the food service industryStrong knowledge of restaurant operations and industry best practicesExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to analyze financial data and create action plans for improvementEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholdersStrong organizational and multi-tasking abilitiesFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience working with restaurant or hospitality industry (preferred)
