SummaryOur well established NYC developerbuilder is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Sr Project Manager to lead upcoming Affordable Housing renovation projects.If you are a collaborative professional looking for a supportive work environment with other industry leading professionals, keep reading!ResponsibilitiesDirect and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budgetReview status reports prepared by project team and modify schedules or plans as requiredEstablish work plan and staffing for each phase of projectPrepare project reports to be distributedCoordinate project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agenciesDevelop and assist Project Executive with maintenance of construction budgets and schedulesEstablish cross-functional communication between the Architect, Site Engineer and Subcontractors, Environmental Geotechnical Engineer and Site Safety ManagerCommunicate expectations with development team and oversee the timely completion of milestonesCoordinate construction permitting including inspections and Certificates of OccupancyAttend Contractor Shop-Drawing coordination meetings and weekly or biweekly meetings at construction site andor design officeReview construction documents, write construction trades Scopes of Work and prepare bid comparison analysisTrack construction costs versus budgetReview contractors' monthly requisitions to align with project budget and percentage of work in placeReview subcontractor change orders for validity and accuracyQualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture10 years of experience in project management related to project development and constructionNYCHA Tenant in place renovation experience a plusNYC affordable housing experience a plusThorough knowledge of construction trades and respective union nonunion and prevailing wage classificationsProficient in MS Office, PrologProcureStrong organizational skills with attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask while working in a fast-paced environmentOfferSalary: $200k to $250kPerformance based bonuses, 401k matchMedicalDentalVisionPet insurance benefitsWorklife balance, continuous professional developmentApply now!
