We are seeking Seasonal (Full-time hours during season) Dock Managers from March through November to manage some of our locations. The position ends in November. If you like working outside, being around boats, have great customer service skills, and don't mind getting your hands dirty, this could be the job for you!Starting pay is $18.00+ USD per hour depending on experience and location, plus attractive part-time benefits:Company matching 401(K)Freedom Shirts and Dock ShoesIdentity Protection and RestorationEmployee Assistance ProgramHealth Advocacy SupportOther discounts and servicesPrimary ResponsibilitiesOversee all dock operations including staff, boats, and surrounding areasTrain dock staff to use proper procedures for cleaning, safety, and ensure all best practices are followed by the team to provide consistent "Red Carpet" treatment of our membersCreate weekly and bi-weekly staffing schedules to create a positive member experienceMonitor staff performance throughout the work processPerform the same work duties as those supervised and some more difficultskilled tasksMaintain supply inventory and track usageMaintain appearance of boats, docks, facilities, and equipmentAssist members with boardingdisembarking boats, casting offsecuring linesComplete thorough boat inspections to isolate damageCorrespond with members on all dock-related issues including but not limited to complaints, fuel disputes, vessel damages, and miscellaneous dock chargesMaintain accurate records in the reservation system, fill out incident reports, and oversee and handle member questionsconcernsMay be asked to assist with other duties to ensure that operations run smoothBecome familiar with local waterways and popular boating destinations surrounding your clubMonitor weather and communicate with members, staff, and management about hazardous conditionsQualifications and Education RequirementsMust 21 years old or olderPass a background check and drug screeningValid driver's license and good driving recordHigh school education or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred)Boating experience Captain's License PreferredManagementSupervisor experience requiredPreferred SkillsStrong Customer Service and management skillsComfort around waterShould have intuitive problem-solving skillsRequired Physical AbilitiesTransferring between boat and dock repeatedlyWorking outside in all weather conditionsManeuvering in tight spacesStanding andor kneeling for prolonged intervalsBending, balancing, and occasionally carrying equipment up to 50 lbs
