Robert Half Finance and Accounting has partnered with a reputable company in North Dallas to identify a QuickBooks Bookkeeper. The QuickBooks Bookkeeper must have 5 + years bookkeeping experience and will be responsible for the following: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in QuickBooks and a meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial data.Responsibilities:Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring adherence to payment terms and company policies.Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions.Generate customer invoices accurately and promptly.Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.Process customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable vestigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to customer payments.Record daily financial transactions into the general ledger.Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, adjustments, and other financial activities.Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger through reconciliations and analysis.Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.Qualifications5 + years bookkeeping expereinceProficiency in QuickBooks software is essential.Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Relevant certifications (e.g., QuickBooks Certification) would be advantageous.
