You will manage various engineering services provided through qualitycost management systems and update the approved supplier list accordingly. Our ideal candidate will have an Electrical Engineering background and Project Engineering experience in any industry. The successful candidate will be excited about solar energy and eager to hit the ground running in this booming industry!Responsibilities:Coordinate with structural, electrical, geotechnical, environmental, and civil Professional Engineers during design process to assure the design meets technical and code requirements. Manage professional engineer review process to obtain engineering deliverablesWork closely with and manage 3rd party professional surveyors to document existing site conditions, local and federal codes, underground utility locations and requirements for constructionParticipate in meetings and technical presentations to customers, investors, and PV technical communityPerform site visits and inspect solar PV systems under construction to confirm they are being built according to the plans and in compliance with all codes, standards, and company specificationsParticipate in onsite quality inspections & punch-list generation to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with NEC, operational, and safety standardsEssential SkillsExperience:Electrical Engineering degree2+ plus years of experience in a Project Engineer roleExperience overseeing subcontractors is preferredAutoCAD experience is greatPerks of the role:One of the top DG solar companies in the countryJoin a well-funded engineering department ready to trainCareer progression401k with company matchSalary and annual bonusProject Engineer | ON-SITE in Rockville, MD | $90k - $115k base + bonus
