Job Title

The Supervisor, Accounts Payable is responsible for the full invoice payment cycle. This individual will also oversee the direct debit process, developing governance and rationalizing vendor selection. Additionally, this role will perform various accounting activities, develop management reporting, and communicate effectively to all levels of management.Duties & Responsibilities:· Manage payment processing team.· Maintain cash accounts and log all outgoing disbursements.· Ensure disbursements are in accordance with policy.· Create weekly cash forecast and present to seniorexecutive leaders.· Monitor all vendor payment agreements to find discounts that can be used to reduce invoice amounts.· Run monthly aging report and provide analysis to management.· Develop governance and provide oversight of the direct debit process.· Mitigate debit balances that exist on vendor accounts.· Reconcile payable reports monthly to confirm that all amounts paid were accurate.· Perform other duties as assigned by management.· Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) on payment failures, returns and duplicate payments.Minimum Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or relevant major required.· Microsoft Office, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel, experience required.· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.· Must have strong analytical skills.· Must have strong problem-solving and time management skills.· Must be highly organized and detail oriented.· Must be comfortable with a fast-paced environment and flexible to daily changes.· Must be authorized to work in the United States.· Must be 21 years of age or older.· Must be willing to undergo a background check.Preferred Qualifications:· A minimum of 3 year(s) of accounts payable experience preferred.· A minimum of 1 year supervisor experience.· Financialaccounting software, specifically SAP S4Hana, experience is a plus.
