In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications, and fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.This Role Offers:Competitive base salary plus outstanding benefits package including medicaldentalvision, 401K match, education reimbursement, and more.Relaxed schedule with a generous amount of PTO and paid holidays.Award winning, accredited learning facility focused on providing a diverse environment.Rich history with highly experienced leadership and a culture of mentorship and innovation.Exciting training and career growth opportunities, both hands-on and formal.Focus:Manage, supervise, and coordinate large-scale construction projects involving roads, bridges, utilities, and rail systems.Develop and implement comprehensive Construction Management Plans (CMPs) that track progress, identify and address issues, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.Schedule and coordinate all construction processes, ensuring adherence to deadlines and milestones.Conduct thorough inspections of ongoing work to verify compliance with plans, codes, and established safety protocols.Develop and implement an effective schedule of values for payments, change order control, and evaluation.Utilize project control and scheduling software to monitor progress and identify potential delays or issues.Design and implement efficient processes to streamline project execution and achieve program objectives.Foster open communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and clients.Prepare detailed management reports that track trends, identify areas for improvement, and inform project decision-making.Skill Set:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management; Professional Engineer (PE) license required.Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the construction industry as a Resident or Assistant Resident Engineer.Prior experience managing large-scale civilstructural construction projects, preferably for public agencies.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines while maintaining quality standards.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving construction challenges.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to effectively interact with diverse project stakeholders.Proficient in the use of computers and project management software, including MS Office Suite and industry-standard construction management programs.About Blue Signal: Blue Signal is a leading executive search firm, specializing in engineering recruitment.
