Title- Senior Solution ArchitectDuration: Full TimeLocation- Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid)Day-to-day responsibilities will involveThe Senior Solution Architect role is primarily responsible for defining infrastructure solutions in support of the objectives corresponding to clinical, administrative, and information technology enterprise initiatives which are following established methodologies, procedures, and guidelines. As a senior member of the team, the highly motivated candidate will also define and refine solution patterns and best practices, as well as mentor other solution architect members.Education QualificationsBachelor's Degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldExperience QualificationsFifteen (15) years of Solution Architecture experience (or equivalent experience in relevant architecture domains); experience in a healthcare IT environment preferableRequired Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesPossess breadth and depth of knowledge and experience across the following information technology domains: data center technologies (compute, storage, virtualization, network), and end user devices (workstation, mobile devices)Extensive infrastructure experience. Familiarity with prevalent storage technologies and understanding of service oriented architecturesExpert level experience with public and private cloud services (i.e. VMware, AWS, Google, Azure, etc.)Knowledge of clinical applications, e.g. Epic, PACS, Safetrace TX, Ensemble, Nurse Call, Omnicell, Genomics, etc.Knowledge of security solutions and security best practices.Deep understanding of information technology approaches, applications, tools, and methodologies, as well as a broad background in a variety of technology platformsProficiency with Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and collaboration toolsExperience white-boarding solutions and options in customer-facing situationsDemonstrated success on quickly understanding business requirements and aligning capabilities to solutionsProven track record of designing scalable, manageable, and highly available technical solutions
