A client of ours in Springfield is looking for a contractor to help out for 3-6 months (potential to convert) out of the manufacturing industry.Contract Length: 3-6 monthsCore Work Hours: 8-5, there is some flexibilityPay Rate: $57-$65 hour, $120-135K on conversionWork Schedule: Fully in office in SpringfieldRoles & Responsibilities:Execute Accounts Receivable workflow.Collaborate with staff and vendors on various accounting functions.Filing sales and use tax and franchise tax returns.Filing Industrial Funding Fee (IFF) on purchases from GSA Schedules.Ensure accuracy of balance sheet account reconciliations in the general ledger.Ensure accuracy of financial statements is in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies.Support preparation of annual Incurred Cost Submission to DCAA.Develop and support monthly calculation of RevenueDevelop and support to Monthly, Quarterly and Year End CloseDevelop and support reconciliation of Project Status Reports (budget to actual)Develop and support Cash Flow Analysis and manage Cash Flow (AR to AP)
