The key responsibilities will be Financial Reporting & Planning, where you will lead the preparation of financial reports, business plans, budgets, and forecasts. Ensure alignment with ABB's accounting policies and internal controls. Accounting & Compliance where you will oversee the classification and coding of financial transactions. Maintain compliance with ABB's accounting practices, budgets, and policies. Financial Analysis where you will conduct thorough analyses of general ledger accounts. Prepare variance analyses and management reports. Assist with period-end reporting and cost accounting tasks. Inventory Management where you will collaborate with facility cycle counters for daily inventory processes. Administer capital projects from inception to disposal. Manage excess and obsolete inventory. The daily activities will include monitoring and analyzing financial KPIs, identifying trends relevant to the business, collaborating with finance professionals to understand financial performance drivers, preparing and review financial documents and presentations for business planning. performing account reconciliations, journal entry reviews, and inventory analyses. Communicating with project sponsors regarding the status of ongoing projects, facilitating the cycle count process and reconcile balance sheets, validating operational and financial data accuracy through reconciliations and exception reviews and lastly preparing financial modelling for "what if" scenarios and analyze the impact on the factory.Preferred Qualifications 8-10 years of experience in accountingcost accounting or as a controller within the manufacturing environment. A Bachelor Degree in accounting, finance or business administration Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookups and other accounting skills) SAP, Oracle or KBM Strong written and verbal communication skills
