Source One is a consulting services company and we're currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant to our direct client, a major utilities company in Newark, NJ. Hybrid: 4 days remote 1 day on-siteTitle: Customer Payment Analyst (Contractor)Pay Rate: $38hr (W-2)Duration: 3-6 months with possible extension (backfill for employee on leave)Summary: This position supports energy efficiency program delivery through a combination of internal and external resources to meet program goals. Provide analytical and program implementation support for energy efficiency programs and support the workforce jobs initiative, electric vehicle and energy storage. This includes working with third party vendors to deliver programs to market; the development, preparation and analysis of operational reports; development of proceduresprocess improvements; technical support and expertise to process owners. Provide program implementation and analytical support for energy efficiency programs. Support program development process by assessing other detailed offerings of related programs so that they can be incorporated into the plan, through development and launch; and subsequent enhancements and offerings. Collaborate with other functional groups throughout the Company to ensure program offerings are delivered to market according to specifications and approved Company policies and procedures. Support the development, maintenance, data collection, analysis and preparation for weekly and monthly operational reports. Develop and maintain databases to support program operations. Develop and generate ad-hoc reports and operationalfinancial reports from existing systems, including but not limited to SAP and DSMC (DSM Central is a workflow management and reporting program). Lead or support new program development initiatives, including process design and systems design. Lead or support process improvement initiatives based on scorecard gaps and monitoring assessments. Develop and prepare various management reports, internal audits, spreadsheets and charts of key program and departmental processes and metrics. Gather and link data from diverse sources to identify data driven improvement opportunities. Represent the department on various cross-functional teams. Responsibilities:• Daily use of SAP to review customer bill payment history• Daily follow up on customer inquiries regarding their Energy Efficiency program obligations and exception reviews• Liaise with Residential Program Implementation Contractor and their customer care vendor, program implementation team members to resolve program questions• Produced a monthly Repayment Report utilizing Excel and Power BI• Reconciled activity to SAP to billing uploadsQualifications:• Customer billing or payment analysis experience• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; strong attention to detail• Demonstrated SAP, Excel and Power BI skills• Must foster an inclusive work environment and respects all aspects of diversity; must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives and approaches• Knowledge of residential energy efficiency programs, processes and practices is a plus
