Lumio is Home Experience, Elevated.â„¢About This RoleThis position will work in our Lehi, UT office with the ability to work from home 1-2 days per week.As Lumio's Employee Relations Manager, you will lead a team of HR business partners through handling all employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employment compliance. With a focus on building strong relationships with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams, you will serve as a trusted advisor and advocate, promoting fairness, transparency, and open communication to drive employee engagement and retention. By proactively identifying and addressing employee concerns and challenges, you will help cultivate a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement, enabling our team to achieve its full potential and make a meaningful impact in the renewable energy industry.Overall ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations: Serve as a resource for managers and employees regarding employee relations matters, concerns, and inquiries. Provide guidance, support, and resolution for employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.Leadership and Coaching: Manage the HR Business Partner team to ensure effective delivery of HR services and support to the organization.  Policy Development and Interpretation: Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and best practices related to employee relations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Interpret and apply policies consistently and fairly across the organization.Investigations: Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, allegations of misconduct, harassment, discrimination, and other workplace issues. Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and make recommendations for appropriate corrective action and resolution.Performance Management: Partner with HR business partners, managers, and employees to facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, coaching, and development planning. Provide guidance and support to ensure fair and objective performance assessments and feedback.Training and Development: Conduct training programs and workshops for managers and employees on topics such as employee relations, conflict resolution, communication skills, and respectful workplace behavior. Promote awareness and understanding of company policies and expectations.Legal Compliance: Stay informed about relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry trends related to employee relations, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards in all employee relations activities.Qualifications 7+ years in employee relations, HR management, or related roles, with a strong background in employment lawBachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field preferredExperience supporting D2D sales from an HR standpoint preferredStrong understanding of business environment, strategy, and business unit needsAbility to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areasAbility to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Proven record of tracking and implementing state and federal compliance requirementsAbility to align talent management processes and programs with Lumio's strategic prioritiesPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described below represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
