Our client, a clean energy company based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will own designs from requirement capture through to operation as well as being responsible for component selection and measurement systems. You will be confident designing circuit boards, performing integration tasks and interfacing with off-the-shelf hardware as well as working with multidisciplinary teams on system design aspects and other structures.Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.The base salary for this role ranges between $150k - $160k, dependant on skills and experience, complemented by equity packages. Additionally, the company provides comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as PTO. Due to the nature of our clients work, we are only able to accept applications from US Citizens or Green Card holders. Duties will include:Design and create electrical schematics and printed circuit boards (PCBs) for a fault-tolerant and safety-critical control system.Take lead engineering responsibilities for electrical instrumentation and subsystems.Work alongside a skilled and diverse team in the planning, execution, and evaluation of high-power electrical control systems.To be successful in the role, you will need:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.Extensive experience designing electrical hardware.Competent in schematic design, PCB layout, PCB bring-up, and prototyping (preferably using Altium).Knowledge of low power electronics.Experience bringing a product through a full lifecycle.Mixed signal board design.
