Certification is required.The Project Inspector will be responsible for:Inspection of various roadway and bridge projectsOversight of the contractor's quality control operationsQuality assurance sampling and testingDaily communication with the client, contractors, and field project personnelUse survey instruments, metering devices, tape measures, and test equipment such as nuclear density gauges, air meters, and slump cones to perform inspections.Perform routine tests on concrete, soils, and other materials.Measure dimensions and verify the level, alignment, and elevation of structures, fixtures, grades, and/or pavement to ensure compliance with plans and codes.Compile and submit field reportsPrevious inspection experienceRequirementsRequired Education and Certification/s must meet one of the below:· HS Diploma or GEDCurrent diver's licensePrevious inspection experience (1600 hours)ANDHighway testing certification including but not limited to:ACI Concrete Field Testing-Grade IACI Aggregate Testing Technician-Level 1OROhio Aggregate Level 1AND one of the following certificationsODOT Flexible PavementODOT Traffic Work Zone TestCUF (Complete ODOT Commercially Useful Function) TrainingWe offer:· Highly competitive wages paid bi-weekly with overtime· Diverse healthcare package· 401k with employer contribution· Generous paid time off (vacation and flextime)· Holiday pay opportunities· Fitness club reimbursement· Life insurance· Tuition reimbursementAt TIS we combine diverse talent with traditional experience to deliver an extraordinarily successful team that our clients can count on.
