We have world class technical depth in laser sources, beam control, tracking/targeting, atmospheric modeling and simulation as well as system architecture design, integration, and deployment.Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Engineer located in Las Vegas, NV. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems for electro-optical products. The role requires interacting with cross-functional teams such as Electrical, Optical, and Firmware Design as well as Manufacturing teams for the production of EO products.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with minimum 5 years of relevant experience or a master's degree in the aforementioned field with 3 years of relevant experience. Ph.D. in the relevant field is considered as an assetProficient in 3D modeling tools such as Solidworks, with 2D tools such as AutoCAD or Drafting.Experience with FEA, CFD, and Solidworks simulation tools and the ability to perform Dynamics, structural and thermal analysis.Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and properties.Experience with designing mechanical parts or assemblies for production, such as machining or additive manufacturing using SolidWorks.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.Previous experience with system-level integration of Electro-Optical devices is considered a plus.Previous experience with military projects or R&D projects in the aerospace industry is considered a plus.U.S. citizenship is required due to government contracts.Pay: $130,000.00 - $155,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offRelocation assistanceTuition reimbursementVision insuranceAbility to Relocate:Las Vegas, NV 89119: Relocate before starting work (Required)EO Solutions is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
