A Commercial real estate company is seeking an experienced Building Engineer with strong Commercial Building HVAC skills to join their team! Closely monitors, identifies and communicates problems in every phase of general maintenance of the building(s), including areas of carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, mechanic, painting, flooring, patching, general hardware, other minor building repairs and cleanliness. Makes recommendations, performs repairs, replacement maintenance and implements preventive maintenance as established by Company procedures and guidelines.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSResponsible for the oversight of Commercial Building HVAC mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment systems, as well as preventative maintenanceHandle day-to-day maintenance/engineering work orders and repairsStrong electrical and plumbing skillsEnsure proper comfort conditions for tenants and common areasOur ideal candidate understands the mechanics of how commercial office buildings work and can deal professionally with building tenants and vendorsHVAC certification is added plusMaintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building(s).Supervises, trains and directs maintenance staff through work orders.We offer competitive compensation (salaried position) and benefits, including medical and dental insurance and, 401(k) plan.
