The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT's preferred partners.To be considered for an interview, please make sure your application is full in line with the job specs as found below.Job Title: DC Project ManagerLocation: Santa Clara, Ca (onsite 5 days/week)Duration: 6+ month CTHResponsibilitiesProject management work and complete the program under PMO managementManage the program and assist the completion and commissioning of site buildsReady the sites with fully functional Network, Lab environments, User spaces, potential AV and Conf Rooms, Physical SecurityProject manage the IT efforts in support of office/lab moves where and when necessaryAssist with closeout process and lesson learntWork with IT and Facility team to manage and ensure space is ready for move inWork with construction team to ensure facility is ready for move inEngage with lab managers and network resources to proactively gather network requirements and track to completion items of proactive configuration to ensure all items are accounted for movingDevelop plans for lab moving, testing, and all related activitiesPreferred Qualifications2+ years of previous Data Center Management experienceEffective communication and decision making skillsBehavioral interviewing and hiring experienceStrong experience managing peopleExperience in managing budgetsProject Management experienceTechnical writing experienceProject management experienceHigh level knowledge of Linux systems administration
