Job Title

The Packaging Line & Formulations Operators at the AMVAC Marsing facility work on the packaging line operating various types of machinery to package, label, and prepare products for shipping. The formulators package seed treatment chemicals paying close attention to quality, safety, and meeting the production goals. Currently hiring for 2nd & 3rd shift - Monday through Friday. All potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESOperate the filling machinery, container capper, semi-auto labeler and casing equipment in the packaging areaOversee packaging quality ensuring conformance standards are met throughout the different stages of packagingComplete paperwork on work orders for amount and type of products that are packagedAssist at the palletizing station; operate forklift safely for moving & loading packagesMaintain cleanliness and organization of work area in and around the packaging equipment; properly stacks and warehouses packaging componentsFollow all safety rules and actively participates in plant safety health management systemOther duties as requested by supervisors and plant managementSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS1+ year of experience in a warehouse or similar business environmentBasic math and reading skillsAbility to follow instructions; Read & follow procedure manualsForklift experience preferredPhysical requirements include climbing, balancing, and regularly moving and safely lift up to 70 poundsBe able to wear personal protective equipment as requiredWork outdoors in all types of climates (below freezing and up to 90+)Pass a pre-employment background check and physicalHigh School diploma or GEDAMVAC OffersHealth insurance including Medical, Dental, Vision, LifeHealth Savings Account (HSA) / Flexible Spending Account (FSA)401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with employer matchingEmployee Stock Purchasing Plan with Employee DiscountVacation, Sick & Holiday PayCompetitive pay - Depending on ExperienceAMVAC, an American Vanguard company, successfully serves global markets through development, manufacturing, and marketing of products for agricultural and commercial use.
