Roles and Responsibilities:The Production Quality Manager is responsible for the performance of inspection conducted by the Production Quality team, which includes checking and sampling procedures on finished goods during its assembly process in filling and packaging operations. The Production Quality Manager primarily supervises and coordinates the daily activities of workers engaged in Production Quality operations within their shift through Quality Supervisor(s). They have delegated regular tasks of Quality Control operations to ensure proper adherence and documentation to filling and packaging instructions. The work involves careful inspections and the enforcement of quality standards across Vanitas Manufacturers Inc. products. Other essential roles and responsibilities for this position include working with key personnel in other departments within the organization on quality issues, customer complaints and Out-of-Specification (OOS) Investigations. The Production Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance of regulatory requirements for the personal care and cosmetic industry, customer requirements, safety, company policies, procedures, specifications, product quality and continuous quality improvement process to meet higher quality standards and achieve customer expectations.Any additional information you require for this job can be found in the below text Make sure to read thoroughly, then apply.Duties:1. Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and GMPs.2. Assist in the development, implementation, and sustainability of quality control procedures and standards to ensure the consistent production of high-quality products.3. Develop and maintain documentation of quality control procedures, inspection reports, and quality records.4. Establish and enable department goals, strategies and KPIs.5. Oversee inspection activities and in-process inspection for finished goods throughout production (filling and packaging) cycle. 6. Review Production documentation such as PCFs. 7. Review cleaning and sanitization logbooks. 8. Verify cleaning and sanitization procedures. 9. Monitor regular inspections and tests on finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.10. Fundamental knowledge of equipment and various other quality management techniques.11. Identify and resolve quality-related issues, including product defects, non-conformities, and deviations from standards.12. Suggest process improvements and bring up any issues that may have been encountered in filling and packaging operations. 13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, Warehousing, and Supply Chain, to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.14. Train and mentor quality control technicians on quality control procedures, techniques, and tools.15. Assist with quality investigations. 16. Execute Change Controls.17. Maintain supply inventory.18. Comply with Retain Management Program per QMS and manage daily product retains.19. Maintain cleanliness and follow good housekeeping practices in the work area.20. The work environment can be fast paced, with constant changes and interruptions. The work requires sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard and office equipment. Production operations require dexterity and care to perform studies as required. Additionally, the work will require walking, climbing stairs, bending and occasional lifting of material up to fifty (50) pounds. The performance of this position will present exposure to an industrial environment and requires support and compliance with the published Company PPE policy including but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, appropriate attire, safety shoes, etc. It may also involve exposure to hot and cold temperatures, noise, limited dust, and chemicals and require adherence to safety regulations operations.
