Summary of This RoleEvaluates, tests, recommends, develops, coordinates, monitors, and maintains infrastructure security policies, procedures and systems, including hardware, firmware and software . Ensures that infrastructure security architecture/designs, plans, controls, processes, standards, policies and procedures are aligned with operational standards and overall IS security. Identifies security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations and suggests procedures to halt future incidents. Investigates and resolves infrastructure security incidents and recommends enhancements to improve security. Develops techniques and procedures for conducting infrastructure security risk assessments and compliance audits, the evaluation and testing of hardware, firmware and software for possible impact on infrastructure security, and the investigation and resolution of security incidents.Interested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below.What Part Will You Play?Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on F5 Load Balancer system/application development life cycle to ensure security infrastructure processes, concepts, and maintenance are incorporated into systems, software, and hardware platforms. Provides the highest level of technical support (Level III) handling the most difficult or advanced problems by troubleshooting software, hardware, and application services across a heterogeneous network infrastructure; provides SME advice to Level I and II support personnel and researches and develops solutions to new or previously unknown issues. Reviews service manager tickets and assesses the time already spent with the customer so that the work is prioritized and time management is sufficiently utilized. Provides ad hoc support to clients and other third parties who provide their own network infrastructure into enterprise sites. Serves as primary point of contact for security infrastructure requests for access from client and third parties along with their sub-contractors who wish to perform network changes on enterprise sites. Defines and maintains network security standards including authorizing and implementing network access rights and device security configurations.Provides SME advice and quality control in the review of completed security infrastructure product updates and audits and ensures security infrastructure devices such as equipment, addresses and circuits are in compliance with applicable regulatory and corporate standards/requirements. Leads solution design and implementation of internal and external projects involving security and network infrastructure.Serves as SME and provides expert advice and assistance to analysis and testing determinations of connectivity requirements and firewall rules for implementations.Schedules, prioritizes, and reviews development, implementation, monitoring, maintenance and compliance of information security standards, policies and procedures. Maintains security product and network documentation for all changes.What Are We Looking For in This Role?Minimum QualificationsBachelor's DegreeRelevant Experience or Degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and/or the equivalent of training and experienceTypically Minimum 8+ Years Relevant ExpExperience in the implementation of secure enterprise size systems, network development and/or network operational environment, PCP/IP networking with knowledge of security practices, knowledge of F5 Load Balancers (LTM & GTM), Checkpoint firewalls, firewall clustering models and stateful failover, firewall operation and rule specification, IP routing principles and protocols, implementation of security techniques around internet facing services and Local Network Operation.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's DegreeComputer Science, Information Technology or related field and/or the equivalent of training and experienceTypically Minimum 8+ Years Relevant ExpExperience working with encryption products, understanding of network management tools and SNMP, security in IP environment, operation and configuration of networks multi-layer switches, intrusion prevention systems, proxies and applications, remote access service SSL/VPN, security equipment and network cabling to industry best practices, Windows and Unix server networking and knowledge of Radius and 802.1X 2 Factor AuthenticationF5 Certified Administrator, BIG-IP (F5-CA)GCFW (GIAC Certified Firewall Analyst), CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)What Are Our Desired Skills and Capabilities?Skills / Knowledge - Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
