Job Description

A Multimedia Broadcast Remediation Engineer for AV Services, Inc. will work with support teams to troubleshoot, escalate, manage incidents, and resources. The successful Broadcast Remediation Engineer will demonstrate effective troubleshooting, communication, and initiative.Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.Objectives:Create, update, and maintain service cases and incidents.Rapid response and quickly assess issue to deliver timely remediations.Ownership and proactive updates of Multimedia hardware environmentRoot cause analysisCritical space risk analysisDevelop and maintain documentation, including remediation guides and playbooks.Author trend alerts knowledge base documentationHardware and or firmware refresh recommendationsCritical hardware inventory managementIdentify serviceability issues.Identify new hardware risks and or support concerns.Role and Responsibilities:Act as first point of contact for Broadcast incidents.Responsible for all incident reporting and trackingReview and prioritize open tickets to meet SLAs.Work with vendors and manufacturers to ensure timely service delivery.Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding the status of remediation efforts.Preventative Maintenance oversight and ownership.Policy enforcement, education, and revisionProvide End of Day Reports.Join assigned and invited meetings.Collaborate with multiple teams and provide updates on the environment.Collaborate with Delivery SME on analytics and all reporting.Job Qualifications:General AV knowledge regarding the followingIntegrated AV systems, including mixers, switchers, routers, DSPs.AV Transport Media (SDI, HDMI, Display Port, Ethernet)Basic Audio signal flow knowledge including the following technologies.Dante Audio networking design and integration.Dante certified.Video Display technologiesVideo WallsRoss video productsA strong understanding of AV over IP ecosystemsFull working knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, NDI, QOS, and PoECCNA certification minimumCCNP preferred.Extensive SMPTE 2110 In depth deployment and configuration knowledgeUnderstanding ST 2110 course certificationArista products7280R3 knowledgeCompTIA Cloud+ certificationPreferred CTS and CQT certifications3-5-year experience in integrated AV environmentFull Time Position has benefits including employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), competitive and comprehensive health insurance, life insurance, dental program, 401k, short-term and long-term disability insurance, FSA, HRA, Commuter Benefit Card, full paid vacations, and paid holidays.A-V Services Inc. provided the following inclusive hiring information:We are an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.Our human capital is the most valuable asset we have.
