Ledgent Technology is actively seeking an experienced IT Manager on behalf of our esteemed client situated in downtown Tampa, Florida. This pivotal role is centered around the effective management and optimization of the company's IT operations. While the position doesn't entail direct personnel management, it requires a hands-on approach in overseeing hardware and software inventories, technical support, and project management tasks. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong commitment to ensuring the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure and operations. This is a full-time, onsite position, necessitating the candidate's presence in downtown Tampa 5 days a week.Skills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the management of hardware and software inventories, including timely upgrades and renewals.Administer the SharePoint ticketing system, ensuring effective organization, prioritization, documentation, reporting, and accountability in ticket and project resolutions.Establish and nurture productive relationships with vendors to facilitate task accomplishment and objective attainment.Aid in the development and refinement of IT policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and compliance standards.Lead and manage assigned IT projects, ensuring successful completion within designated timeframes, scope, and budget.Implement and monitor quality control protocols for IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, safeguarding organizational data and system integrity.Coordinate onsite visits of vendors and consultants for the maintenance of essential office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and postage meters.Enhance cybersecurity awareness across the organization through the development and dissemination of educational content and training.Provide Tier 1 technical support, addressing and resolving and escalating technical issues.Continuously evaluate and enhance the IT infrastructure and support mechanisms to improve efficiency and security.Requirements:A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT operations, with a demonstrated capability in managing IT infrastructure and providing high-level technical support.Proficient in the use of Microsoft SharePoint and experienced in managing ticketing systems.Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong vendor management skills, including an understanding of contract negotiations.Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.Proven ability to manage and lead IT projects from start to finish.Excellent communication abilities, capable of effectively conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.This role requires the candidate to work onsite in downtown Tampa, Florida, 5 days a week.Desired Skills:Any relevant certifications are considered a plus but are not mandatory.Experience in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.Prior exposure to cybersecurity awareness training initiatives.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
