Working with a database that is kind of antique.Projects? one project is writing tickets for enhancements to the Universe system. Antiquated DB system. Old-fashioned Unix experience is probably what's most similar. Everything is on the command line, with no GUI. All keyboard/command line. That project also has a difficult person, he has been here 30 years and knows this system inside and out.another GUI-related project. API, service layer, interacts with MySQL database. Have to know what's an API and how it works in the system. Understands how to work with 3rd party integrations.if understand Universe and API, other stuff will fall into place. Working with the compliance team, using Python dev. At least know Python is a dev language, what challenges could be present there. Python experience isn't necessary.other projects: APIs, ideally how to execute an API call, make a request, get the response back, understand what those words mean.
