Our direct client, a non-profit organization, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to provide support and engineering expertise to their corporate Azure environment on a small team. This role is on-site 4 days/week and located walking distance to Penn Station. Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.Job Description and DutiesSupport and maintain application portfolios and various technology solutions including, though not limited to, Microsoft stack (Intune, Defender, MECM, O365, etc), Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Mimecast, Rubrik, networking, firewalls, Wi-Fi, telecommunications and security solutions.Project engineering work including roll-out of their AVD environmentUnder the direction of the IT Infrastructure Director, work to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support technology solutions for all aspects of the organizationSupport the implementation of infrastructure policies, procedures, identification and communication of quality of service opportunities and end user feedbackMaintenance of infrastructure solutions, operations, and strategic planning, including business requirements, project planning and executionStay abreast of emerging security threats and implement cutting edge security solutions Provide level 2 engineering support for IT Infrastructure, consisting of system escalations, training and knowledge transfer of system functions to end users and other IT Teams, documentation, after hours on call support, and working with external vendors and developers as neededREQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 6 years' experience working with related IT infrastructure requiredExperience with operations in Azure Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop Experience supporting a 1k user infrastructure environmentAzure industry certifications preferred, for ex; AZ-140Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problemsSuperior understanding of the organization's goals and objectivesExcellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and documentation skillsAbility to document and present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly languagePosition requires daily in office and field visits M-F
