JOB - Electrical EstimatorDo not wait to apply after reading this description a high application volume is expected for this opportunity.LOCATION - Brooklyn, NYTERM - PermanentSALARY- $85,000 - $105,000 per annum (dependent on experience)My client - an Electrical Contractor working predominantly in the Residential and Commercial sectors are on the lookout for an Electrically qualified Engineer to join the team and work on the delivery of estimations and proposals / project bids for new and existing clients.The ideal candidate will have experience in understanding scope of work and preparing estimations for upcoming project work.Those with experience in full project lifecycle work across Residential and Commercial sectors will be of particular interest.The Electrical Estimator will ideally have the following attributes:BS in Electrical / Civil Engineering or similar.3+ years' experience in Electrical or construction estimation.Full proficiency in reading and understanding Electrical schematics to understand scope of project.Strong experience in delivery of estimations based on material, labor, equipment and overhead costs for projects in NYC.Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)The Electrical Estimator's role will involve:Reviewing construction documents (Drawings, Specifications) in order to understand scope of work to bid.Obtaining prices for materials and sub-contractor bids where necessary.Preparing cost analysis.Liaising with colleagues on other engineering tasks and projects as requiredFor more information about this Electrical Estimator role please apply, or email Jack Smillie on jsmillie@ who will be able to provide more details on the opportunity.Many thanks, Premier Group
