Performing the job with excellence.Efficiency PillarPartnering with team members to create an environment where goals are met; look for ways to reduce delays and hassles; share opportunities to improve my area; using time and resources wisely; be prepared and anticipate operational needs.The Dietary Aide assists in maintaining adult dining room in an organized and sanitary condition, i.e., pre-set tables, bus tables, etc.Duties include maintaining orderly, safe and sanitary kitchens (main kitchen and sub-kitchen), i.e., wash dishes, scrub floors, empty trash, clean refrigerators and freezers, clean kitchen equipment, etc.Serving residents in a courteous and professional manner. Stocking and maintaining sub-kitchen with basic inventory. Transporting hot food from main kitchen to sub-kitchen. Serving at special functions as required, i.e., Christmas party, Grand Master's reception, etc. Monitoring adult residents who miss scheduled meals and notify appropriate personnel.Reporting all accidents, unsafe/hazardous conditions immediately.RequirementsHigh School diploma.Safe Serve certification a strong plus.Effective oral communication skills requiredMust be a team playerPositive, can-do attitude requiredBilingual Spanish helpfulExperience in food service beneficialBenefitsMasonic Homes of California offers 401k with an employer match and safe harbor contribution.
