You must have an Active Secret Clearance!Is this the next step in your career Find out if you are the right candidate by reading through the complete overview below.Position: The Air Defense Officer (ADO) shall have at least five (5) years of experience in managing programs, training, and oversight. The ADO should have previously completed a successful Patriot battery command, with additional experience as a Battalion (BN) S3 or AS3. The ADO must be able to direct TAFT personnel and effectively interface with USG Team Chief and USG Deputy Team Chief.Duties Include:Ensure guidelines and standards are adhered to in accordance with existing government contract Ensure compliance with company and government security regulationsInterface with key, foreign personnel to facilitate training requirements and resource requestsDevelop training schedules and ensure complete compliance and adherenceProvide Patriot Missile Air Defense System subject matter expert advice and training to Poland Armed Forces (PAF) personnel on techniques and procedures similar to U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery (Patriot).Assist PAF to establish effective their own Patriot related training, standardization, logistics, sustainment, and maintenance programs. Train and mentor PAF personnel on appropriate methods to continue these programs after TAFT mission completion.Train PAF personnel on operational and maintenance procedures. Coordinate with the USG in-country personnel to schedule Table IV and Table VIII written examinations; assess and evaluate Air Battle Management Level (ABML) Table IV and (ABML) Table VIII.Train and develop personnel identified by the PAF to be the Evaluation Missile Maintenance Officer (EMMO) Team.Train and develop personnel identified by the PAF to be the PATRIOT unit master trainers (Master Gunners).Assist in establishing a maintenance program that fully supports the unit training plan; developing a Poland Patriot training program of instruction for 14-series MOSs (or the Poland equivalent) and crews; shaping a unit safety program; developing a Tactical Standard Operating Procedures (TSOP); developing a Mission Essential Task List (METL); establishing a Mission Training Plan; and integrating Polish planning and training methods similar to U.S. methods.Provide effective assistance, advice, and training that facilitate PAF establishing effective Patriot -related programs that can be sustained after completion of TAFT mission. Focus is on building unit collective tactical and maintenance capabilities.Monitor all training to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence Maintain communication with Program Manager (PM). Keep PM apprised of incidents and/or major events.Dialogue with high-ranking Polish military officials. Qualifications Previous experience in the US Army serving in MOS 140E/K/L - Air Defense Officer / Warrant Officer. The applicant shall have at least 5 years' experience as a MOS listed above, in a U.S. Army Patriot Battalion and will be subject matter expert in the employment and operation of the Patriot system. It is preferred the applicant will have served as one or more of the following: Control Officer (TCO) at a U.S. Patriot BatteryDirector (TD) at a U.S. Patriot Battalionat a U.S. Patriot BattalionDefense Artillery Fire Control Officer (ADAFCO)Patriot Top Gun QualificationMUST possess an Active Department of Defense SECRET Security Clearance
